At our sites in Vienna, Fischamend and Stockerau, we offer proper and legally compliant disposal facilities for excavated soil, construction waste, residual materials and bulk waste.
As part of our commitment to the resource-efficient use of raw materials, another key aspect of our operations in Vienna is the processing of mineral construction waste into quality-assured recycled building materials. In Fischamend, we carry out mechanical-biological treatment of household waste-like materials. At the Vienna site, in addition to a sorting plant for recovering recyclable materials, there is a slag demetallisation plant as well as facilities for producing site-specific soils.

At our main site in Vienna, we operate a landfill site for construction waste and residual materials. The primary focus is on the disposal of mineral waste from the Greater Vienna area as well as residues from waste incineration plants.
The Langes Feld landfill site has been a waste disposal partner of the City of Vienna for decades and, in this respect, guarantees the reliability of waste disposal for our capital city.
The construction waste recycling plant operated at the site makes a significant contribution to the circular economy. The focus is on producing quality-assured recycled building materials from mineral construction waste.
A slag demetallisation plant is operated to recover valuable raw materials. The metals recovered there are returned to the production process.
A sorting plant is available for the separation of bulky waste and mixed waste.
In the composting plant, site-specific topsoil is produced from organic waste. This is carried out using windrow composting.

Fish amendsLandfill – mechanical-biological waste treatment – composting
Around 30 km east of Vienna, we operate a landfill site for non-hazardous waste in Fischamend in accordance with the Landfill Ordinance of 2008. This comprises a landfill for residual waste and bulk waste. A mechanical-biological waste treatment plant as well as a composting plant are located on the site.
This enables us to dispose of a wide variety of waste fractions in a professional manner, such as excavated material, construction waste, slag from waste incineration plants, bulky waste, commercial waste, sewage sludge, green waste, etc.
For the temporary storage of non-hazardous and hazardous waste (e.g. oil-contaminated soil following a hydrocarbon spill for assessment), we have a sealed, partially covered storage facility. These fractions are either sent for treatment following an assessment or disposed of properly at our own Landfill.
To minimise transport, delivery by rail using ACTS containers or other container systems is possible via our rail connection.
In the composting plant, site-specific topsoil is produced from organic waste. This is carried out using windrow composting.
